ALL PADDLING IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
LIFEJACKETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES!

SAFTEY; our rafts are extremely stable and a great way for the entire family to get out on the water and paddling. While there are no “real,” rapids on the river, THERE IS A VERY STRONG CURRENT! Currents can both draw you away from the boat and at times even draw you downwards under water, Lifejackets must be worn at all times. Swimming is only permitted at designated areas.
There are other boats traveling along the river daily. Paddlers are to stay to the right and give rite of way to larger motorized vessels.
ALL PADDLING IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Physical condition; our rafts accommodate 8 people each. The rafts are 4 meters long and 2 meters wide and weigh 60 kilograms. For safety reasons we require that each raft is manned by at least 3, physically healthy and capable adults. There is a considerable effort required for controlling the rafts while paddling and also for transportation off the water. THERE IS A TRANSPORT WHERE THE RAFTS MUST BE CARRIED OVER A SAND BEACH FOR 100 METERS.

Clothing; Dress appropriately for a long day outdoors. We recommend sandals or old gym shoes and shorts, your feet will get wet. Swedish summer is the best in the world, so have swim and sunbathing attire on. Bring along beach towels if you want to go for a swim while out rafting.

Weather; the weather can change rapidly, so it’s a good idea to bring along a light rain jacket or waterproof windbreaker with you. Bring sunscreen. Hats and sunglasses are also good protection from the sun.

Personal belongings; each boat is also equipped with a waterproof “dry bag.” We recommend that any important items you take along be stored in the dry bags in case of accidents or falling overboard. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS!

Each boat is equipped with a cooler, so you can even bring along your own food and drink if you’d like. Adults, remember to drink responsibly. We reserve the rite to deny any person seeming overly intoxicated the rite to go rafting if we feel they are unfit for safe passage.
